Terms of service
Last updated 28 August 2026.
These terms govern use of Human Design MCP and the underlying Human Design API operated by HumanDesign.AI LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14696719, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. By connecting an MCP client, requesting a key or calling the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
Your account and credentials
You are responsible for everything done with your credentials and for keeping them secure. API keys belong on your server. Do not ship them in a browser, a mobile binary, a public repository or anywhere a third party can read them. OAuth tokens belong in the MCP client's protected credential store and must not be pasted into prompts. Tell us promptly if a credential is exposed so it can be revoked or replaced.
You may not share an API key across separate businesses, sublicense it, or operate a proxy, wrapper or gateway that lets others reach the service through your key. An OAuth connection acts with the permissions of the signed-in HumanDesign.ai user and may not be used to bypass membership, ownership, workspace-role, scope or entitlement checks.
Fair use
Each API plan carries a monthly allowance that resets on your billing date, and different operations may consume different amounts of it. When the allowance is exhausted the service returns a quota error rather than continuing to bill you, so a loop in your code or agent cannot generate an unexpected invoice.
Beyond the numeric allowance we ask for ordinary good behaviour: reasonable concurrency, retries with backoff rather than in a tight loop, and caching of results you will use more than once. A chart for a given birth moment never changes, so recalculating it repeatedly wastes your allowance and our capacity. We may rate limit, throttle or suspend a credential that degrades the service for other customers, and we will tell you why.
What you may do with the output
You may display chart data returned by the service inside your own product, presented and styled however suits it, including under your own branding, and you do not need to credit us. You may cache and store calculation results in your own systems for the operation of your product, subject to your own data-protection obligations.
What you may not do
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, calculation methods or internal structure of the API, MCP service or any software we provide, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
You may not systematically extract, harvest or bulk download responses in order to reconstruct our reference libraries or build a competing chart calculation service or dataset. Calling the service to help your own users is the point. Calling it to copy the service is not.
You may not resell raw API or MCP access, remove or obscure security or rate limiting, probe or test the service for vulnerabilities without written permission, or use it to build a product that competes directly with the Human Design API itself.
Ownership
We retain all rights in the API and MCP services, their software, documentation, reference libraries and calculation methodology. These terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to call the service and use its output as described above, and nothing more. You retain rights in your own product and in the data you supply.
Your users and their data
Where you send us birth details belonging to your users, you are responsible for collecting them lawfully and for having any consent your jurisdiction requires. We do not retain calculation input as request content; see the privacy policy for what we do record and how account-connected tools differ.
Responsible use of Human Design information
Service output is informational. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a measurement of anything about a person. Do not use it, and do not build a product that uses it, to make or justify decisions about employment, insurance, credit, housing, healthcare or anything else where it could cause material harm. If your product presents this information publicly, say so somewhere your users will see it.
Availability
We work to keep the service reliable but offer no uptime guarantee, and you should build for the case where a call fails. Handle errors and missing results honestly rather than inventing chart fields when the service is unavailable. Endpoints, tool schemas, fields, client compatibility and limits may change, and we will give reasonable notice of anything that breaks an existing integration where it is practical to do so.
Suspension and termination
You may stop at any time by revoking an OAuth connection or cancelling a paid plan in your account; see the refund policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or use that threatens the service or other customers. Where the problem is fixable we will normally tell you and give you a chance to fix it first.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that output will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for any specific use. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability arising from these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account or by notice on this site, and continued use after they take effect is acceptance. The date above is the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
